Archbishop Listecki encourages us to take a fresh look at Sunday worship and ourselves. In his article “Evangelization and the Sunday Mass: Prepare, Welcome and Grow,” the value of preparing for worship, creating a culture of hospitality and growing in our faith is immeasurable.  By intentionally growing in our understanding and appreciation of the Mass, our role as a “parish ambassador” will be embraced with joy and welcoming to all seekers!

Holy Name of Jesus Parish

Carved In Stone, Nourished By Love. These simple words reflect the efforts, both great and small, of all men and women who have contributed to our church and parish. For more than 150 years Holy Name of Jesus Parish has served the needs of the people of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Located on the northeast side of Sheboygan, our parish is an active and vibrant Catholic congregation looking forward with hope in Christ. We invite you to come to visit us, join us in the celebration of the Mass, and find out more about our faith community.

In 1995 Holy Name celebrated its 150th anniversary. At that time a parish history book was published.

Saint Clement Parish

Located in an east-central neighborhood of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, St. Clement Parish is a diverse and thriving parish. English language Masses and activities are offered throughout the week, and Spanish language Masses and programs are also offered to serve our vibrant Hispanic population. Come and be a part of our welcoming community and experience how the love of Christ reaches out to all!

In the year 2014, Saint Clement Parish marks the 100th anniversary. Watch this website for more information and happenings.

Evangelization Prayer

O Gracious and merciful God, we pray that through the Holy Spirit all Catholics may hear the call of the New Evangelization and seek a deeper relationship with your Son, Jesus.

We pray that the New Evangelization will renew the Church, inspiring all Catholics to “go forth and make disciples of all nations” and transform society through the power of the Gospel.

We pray for all members of the Church, that we heed the words of Christ—“do not be afraid”—and strengthened by the Holy Spirit’s gift of courage, give witness to the Gospel and share our faith with others.

We pray that we may become like the father of the prodigal son—filled with compassion for our missing brothers and sisters—and run to embrace them upon their return.

We pray that all people yearning to know Christ and the Church may encounter him through the faithful who witness to his love in their lives.

Loving God, our Father, strengthen us to become witnesses to the saving grace of your Son, Jesus, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever.

New Evangelization

The Pope has declared this the Year of Faith. Additionally, all of the faithful are called to be disciples of Jesus. Follow the link below to find out more about what you can do to enhance your understanding of Catholicism and growing closer to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
